What is a Drafter’s Assistant? |
CAD-operator’s assistants, also known as drafters’ assistants, are usually employed by manufacturing firms and construction companies. They usually work as support for drafters. They use computer aided drafting programs to help provide technical drawings and blueprints of a product or structure being built. They may add the dimensions, details, specialized notations, and symbols to convey instructions about the materials and assembly procedures required for the project’s completion. Successful drafter’s assistants have a solid understanding of mathematics and science. |
