Call Center Insurance Marketing Representative Program Fact Sheet


What is Marketing? The Call Center Insurance Marketing Representative certificate will prepare students for careers in professional marketing positions involved in Property and Casualty Insurance and/or Life and Health Insurance. The program emphasizes development of those skills and techniques needed to function as strong, contributing, successful members of the sales and marketing team. Group and individual projects give students as opportunity to apply their knowledge and organizational skills to practical problems. Topics include: life, health, property, and casualty insurance fundamentals, marketing, sales, customer relations, and an introduction to microcomputers.
Prerequisite Courses
  1. FYES 1000  
  2. Diploma level proficiency required to take MATH 1012.
  3. Degree level proficiency required to take MATH 1111 or MATH 1103. Please refer to course descriptions in the online catalog for specific prerequisites.
Semester Program Begins Fall, spring or summer
Application Process Applicants to the Call Center Insurance Marketing Representative program must meet all Admission requirements, complete an application and pay the application fee. Individuals apply to Gwinnett Technical College at GwinnettTech.edu, submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test, if required.
