What is an Interior Design Sales Consultant? |
The Interior Design Sales Consultant is a service offered by many retail furniture companies and design showrooms. As an Interior Design Sales Consultant, you will learn to offer design selection services to new homeowners, retail customers or assist designers in their client choices. Students learn how to maintain customer relations, to achieve sales goals, and to market products and services as required for the professional planning and designing of residential and commercial interior spaces. |

- Diploma level proficiency in English and reading required to take INDS technical courses.

Applicants to the Interior Design Sales Consultant program must meet all admission requirements; complete an application and pay the application fee. Individuals apply to Gwinnett Technical College at GwinnettTech.edu, submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test, if required. |

The ASID State of Industry shows that Interior Design has fully recovered to pre-recession levels. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census reflect an 11.9% growth in the number of Interior Designers, 6% growth in Design firms and 8 to 9% growth in the construction industry.
