Business Management Program Fact Sheet


What is a Business Manager?

The Business Management program prepares students currently in management, and students anticipating career changes into management, for advanced positions in a variety of business and industries. The Business Management programs include management and accounting courses. Graduates who complete the degree in Business Management also complete a concentration in general management, Human Resources Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.

Prerequisite Courses
  1. FYES 1000  
  2. Degree level proficiency is required to take degree level General Education courses.
  3. Diploma level proficiency is required to take diploma level General Education courses.
  4. Diploma level proficiency in English and reading are required to take MGMT technical courses. Please refer to course descriptions in the online catalog for specific prerequisites.
Semester Program Begins Spring, summer or fall semester
Application Process Applicants to the Business Management program must meet all admission requirements, complete an application and pay the application fee. Individuals apply to Gwinnett Technical College at GwinnettTech.edu, submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test, if required.
Program Deadlines You may enter in the fall, spring, or summer semester.
