Commercial Construction Management AAS Program Fact Sheet

What is a Construction Manager?	Construction managers are responsible for a construction project from start to finish and everything in-between. They coordinate and supervise a wide variety of projects, including the building of all types of public, residential, commercial, and industrial structures, as well as roads, memorials, and bridges. Construction managers oversee specialized contractors and other personnel. They ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Construction managers work closely with owners and other building specialists, such as architects, civil engineers, and a variety of trade workers.

Prerequisite Courses	Students can be provisionally accepted to the Commercial Construction Management degree program, but must complete any Learning Support courses before taking the General Education courses. Degree level proficiency is required for the General Education courses. For specific prerequisites please refer to the Course Descriptions in the online catalog.
Length of Program	Degree: 5 semesters 62 Credit hours

Application Process	Applicants to the Commercial Construction Management program must meet all Admission requirements; complete an application and pay the application fee. Individuals apply to Gwinnett Technical College at GwinnettTech.edu, submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test, if required.
Program Deadlines	You may enter in the fall and spring semesters.
