ALHS 1140 - Health Care Communication
Prerequisite: Health related students only; Diploma level proficiency in English, reading and math
Effective communication skills are essential for all health care workers. This course aims to improve understanding of the ways in which people communicate and relate to each other in various health care settings. It also seeks to promote more effective communication and relationships among health care workers, patients, and other health team members.
