CIST 2434 - UNIX/Linux Scripting Prerequisite: CIST 2433 Course covers UNIX/Linux shell programming techniques necessary for UNIX/Linux System Administrators to understand and create shell script programs in a UNIX/Linux environment. Topics include: shell variables, running shell script program, conditional processing, looping structures, arithmetic operators, logical operators such as AND, OR, and NOT, positional parameters and process variables, redirection, piping and standard error, use of backslash, quotes and back quotes. .
