BIOL 2117 - Introductory Microbiology

Prerequisite: BIOL 2113, BIOL 2113L or BIOL 1111, BIOL 1111L or BIOL 2107, BIOL 2107L;
Prerequisite/Corequisite: BIOL 2117L.
Provides students with a foundation in basic microbiology with emphasis on infectious disease. Topics include microbial diversity, microbial cell biology, microbial genetics, interactions and impact of microorganisms and humans, microorganisms and human disease. (associate degree-level course) Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $49.99 cost recovery fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees can change at the end of the semester.
