MUSC 1101 - Music Appreciation

Prerequisite: ENGL 1101
Explores the formal elements of musical composition, musical form and style, and the relationship of music to historical periods. The course includes listening and analysis of well-known works of music. This course encourages student interest in musical arts beyond the classroom. (associate degree-level course) Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $61.73 cost recovery fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees can change at the end of the semester.
