RELG 1101 - World Religions


Prerequisite: ENGL 1101  
Introduction to World Religions is a survey course of the history, practice, and modern relevance of the world’s religious traditions. Through the study of religion and its influence on history and culture, greater insight and understanding of diverse populations can be attained. Topics include an overview of significant religious traditions from around the world, critical analysis of the relationships between religions and artistic traditions, and critical analysis of the influence of religion on culture, politics, and history. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $49.99 cost recovery fee in addition to tuition and fees.
