Program Description
The Gas Metal Arc Welder certificate provides basic training required for the Gas Metal Arc welder (MIG). This certificate includes a course in Gas Metal Arc welding (GMAW/MIG). Students receive instruction that emphasizes basic skills, safety, and quality workmanship. The program is ideal for the person who needs training in a basic welding operation in a brief time span. All courses apply to the diploma program in Welding and Joining Technology.
