Program Description

This program provides students with a basic knowledge of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Students will learn project management and will be able to effectively use microcomputer hardware and software applications to enhance existing job skills in the GIS and GPS profession.

Surveyors, cartographers, photogrammetrists, surveying and mapping technicians

Regulations published by the U.S. Department of Education require institutions that participate in the Title IV student financial assistance programs to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV-eligible educational programs, two years earlier, that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE Programs).
