Program Description

The Drafting Technology degree prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in the drafting field. The program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills or to retrain in drafting. Graduates of the program receive an associate of applied science degree.

Note: Students must verify degree level proficiency in math before program admission.

Students who choose to take DFTG 2030 or DFTG 2040 as an elective could also complete the Advanced CAD Technician certificate.
