Program Description

The Mopar CAP Engine Repair Specialist certificate program introduces students to the knowledge and skills they will need as entry level chassis technicians within a Mopar branded shop: Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo. Topics covered include: shop safety, electrical/electronics diagnosis, general engine diagnosis; removal and reinstallation; cylinder heads and valve trains diagnosis and repair; engine blocks assembly diagnosis and repair; lubrication and cooling systems diagnosis and repair within Mopar brands.  Prerequisite: Students are encouraged to acquire a personal set of hand tools.

Students applying for this program must be accepted into the MOPAR (CAP) College Automotive degree or diploma program.
