Program Description
The Ford ASSET Chassis Technician certificate program provides students with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to enter the automotive industry as an entry-level chassis technician within a Ford or Lincoln shop. Topics covered include: shop safety, basic electrical/electronic theory and diagnosis, chassis components and types, steering system components and service, alignment theory and procedures, and brake system operation, diagnosis and repair within a Ford and Lincoln brands.
Prerequisite: Students are encouraged to acquire a personal set of hand tools. Students applying for this program must be accepted into the Ford ASSET degree program.
