Program Description

The Ford ASSET HVAC certificate program provides students with skills for entering the automotive service industry as an entry-level climate control technician within Ford and Lincoln brands. Topics covered include: basic shop safety, electrical/electronic theory and diagnosis, and the theory, operation, diagnosis and servicing of automotive climate control systems. 

Prerequisite: Students are encouraged to acquire a personal set of hand tools. Students applying for this program must be accepted into the Ford ASSET degree program.
