Program Description
The Ford ASSET Engine Repair certificate program provides students with skills for entering the automotive service industry as an entry-level engine technician within Ford and Lincoln brands. Topics covered include: shop safety, electrical/electronics diagnosis, general engine diagnosis; removal and reinstallation; cylinder heads and valve trains diagnosis and repair; engine blocks assembly diagnosis and repair; lubrication and cooling systems diagnosis and repair within Ford and Lincoln brands.
Prerequisite: Students are encouraged to acquire a personal set of hand tools. Students applying for this program must be accepted into the Ford ASSET degree program.
