Program Description 

The Executive Administrative Assistant program prepares individuals to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests, as well as performing routine administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.  

Prerequisite: Students applying for this program must be accepted into the Business Technology degree program.

Employment Opportunities 

Employment opportunities include roles such as Office Coordinator, Office Assistant, Virtual Assistant, and Executive Assistant. Daily responsibilities typically include managing executive calendars, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements, preparing reports and presentations, handling confidential correspondence, and coordinating office communications. These roles serve as the primary point of contact between executives and internal or external stakeholders, requiring excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
