Program Description

The Mopar CAP Drivetrain Specialist certificate program introduces students to the knowledge and skills they will need as entry level transmission, transaxle, and drive line technicians within a Mopar branded shop: Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo. Topics covered include: shop safety, electrical/electronics diagnosis, manual transmission/transaxle operation and diagnosis, automatic transmission/transaxle operation and diagnosis, axles operation and diagnosis, differentials operation and diagnosis, and 4WD/AWD system operation and diagnosis.

Students applying for this program must be accepted into the MOPAR (CAP) College Automotive degree or diploma program.
