The program emphasizes a combination of criminal justice theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive a criminal justice technology diploma. A criminal background check will be completed prior to the first day of the practicum or externship (CRJU 2090 /CRJU 2100 ) by most Criminal Justice agencies.
