Program Description

The Tax Preparation Specialist certificate is designed to provide entry-level skills for tax preparers. Topics include: principles of accounting, tax accounting, business calculators, mathematics and basic computer skills. (Program Length: 2 Semesters)

Regulations published by the U.S. Department of Education require institutions that participate in the Title IV student financial assistance programs to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV-eligible educational programs, two years earlier, that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE Programs).
