FORD 1010 - Introduction to Ford Dealer Systems Prerequisite: Program Admission; Diploma level proficiency in English and reading. This course introduces basic concepts and practices necessary for safe and effective automotive dealer operations. Topics include: safety procedures; legal/ethical responsibilities; general service; hand tools; shop organization, management, and work flow systems. Included is an introduction to Ford web-based courses and completing required courses for basic certification in Ford training. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $40 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees. Contact hours: Class - 1, Lab - 2. Credit hours: 2 (T)
