Program Description

The associate of applied science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) allows a student to build a strong academic foundation in the general education core curriculum, as well as select from a variety of occupational concentrations in business and health sciences depending upon the student’s professional goals. The AIS requires completion of a minimum of 61 semester credit hours (21 hours of general education requirements and 40 or more hours distributed among one or more areas of emphasis). Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition or continued education.
