CIST 1601 - Information Security Fundamentals

Corequisite: CIST 1001  
This course provides a broad overview of information security. It covers terminology, history, security systems development and implementation. Student will also cover the legal, ethical, and professional issues in information security. Note: Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $177.50 cost recovery fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees can change at the end of the semester. Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 2.
