FORD 1020 - Ford Electrical Systems

Corequisite: FORD 1010  
This course introduces automotive electricity, emphasizes the basic principles, diagnosis, and service/repair of batteries, starting systems, starting system components, alternators and regulators, lighting system, gauges, horn, wiper/washer, and accessories. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $40 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester.   Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 6. Credit hours: 5 (T)
