FORD 2010 - Ford Engine Systems & Repair


Prerequisite: FORD 1010  
This course introduces the student to Ford engine theory and repair, placing emphasis on inspection, testing, and diagnostic techniques for internal combustion engines. Topics include general engine diagnosis; removal and reinstallation; cylinder heads and valve trains diagnosis and repair; engine blocks assembly diagnosis and repair; lubrication and cooling systems diagnosis and repair. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $20 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester.  Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 4.
