EMSP 1550 - Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Theory I

Prerequisite: Program Admission
This course builds on the previous EMT program courses and provides a broader depth and breadth of learning to the following topics. It introduces additional topics following the National EMS Education Standards outline the minimal competencies for entry-level EMS clinicians to perform their roles as outlined in the 2021 revisions. Topics Include: EMS System, Public Health, Assessment, Pharmacology, etc. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $193 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees.
