EMSP 2100 - Paramedic Foundations


Prerequisite: Program Admission
This course introduces foundational knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors required for paramedic practice. Topics include EMS systems, workforce safety and wellness, research, documentation, communication, legal and ethical considerations, public health, patient assessment, and operational roles. Students will learn to integrate clinical reasoning, team communication, and safety practices in both didactic and lab settings. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $203 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees.
