ECCE 1105 - Health, Safety and Nutrition
Prerequisite: Diploma level proficiency in English, reading and math;
Prerequisite/Corequisite: MATH 0097
Introduces the theory, practices, and requirements for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment. Topics include CPR and first aid, health issues, safety issues, child abuse and neglect, and nutritional needs of children. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $25 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester. Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 2.
