SOCI 2600 - Introduction to Social Problems


Prerequisite: Degree level proficiency in English and reading
This course will provide an in-depth study of current social problems such as poverty, unemployment, energy, pollution, deviance, drugs and crime. Emphasis is on causes, consequences, policy, and possible solutions to these problems. (associate degree-level course) Contact hours: Class -3, Lab - 0. Credit hours: 3 (F, Sp)
