WELD 1000 - Introduction to Welding Technology
Prerequisite: Provisional Admission; Program Director mandatory Advisement
This course provides an introduction to welding technology with an emphasis on basic welding laboratory principles and operating procedures. Topics include: industrial safety and health practices, hand tool and power machine use, measurement, Oxyacetylene welding, and Welding career potentials. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $30 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester. Contact hours: Class - 3, Lab - 3.
