Program Description
The Graphic Design for the Web certificate program is a sequence of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in the development of graphic images. Program graduates are to be competent in the technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, website design and development, and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Program graduates will receive a Graphic Design for the Web Technical certificate of credit and will be qualified for employment as graphic designers. (Program Length: 3 Semesters Minimum)

Students applying for this program must be accepted into the Web Site Design/Developer degree or diploma program unless they have completed the required prerequisite courses for this certificate.

Regulations published by the U.S. Department of Education require institutions that participate in the Title IV student financial assistance programs to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV-eligible educational programs, two years earlier, that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE Programs).
