Program Description

The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Fast Track TCC program is an accelerated program that provides students with a faster entry into the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professions for employment in a variety of prehospital, industrial and first responder settings. Students within this program will be provided the foundational knowledge and hand-on skills necessary to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS response and assist higher-level personnel at the scene and during transport. Graduates of this program will be able to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians EMR certification examination and upon successful completion will be able to function as part of a comprehensive EMS responder, under medical oversight.
