A criminal background check will be completed prior to the first day of the practicum or externship (CRJU 2090 / CRJU 2100 ) by most Criminal Justice agencies. Failure to complete and pass this criminal background check to the satisfaction of the internship site will prohibit the externship experience and result in a failing grade preventing the student from completion of the program.
