What is a Foreman? |
Foreman refers to the supervisory position in a construction company that ranks above the workers and below the mangers. They are a key part of any construction process. A construction foreman may be responsible for coordinating construction work, producing schedules and monitor attendance, allocating daily duties, and general oversight of the construction site. |

Prerequisite Courses |
FYES 1000
COFC 1020 - required for admission to all CARP courses.
Degree level proficiency required to take degree level General Education courses. Please refer to the course descriptions in the online catalog for specific prerequisites.
It is recommended that students first complete the introductory and technical carpentry courses (course numbers beginning with the letters ‘COFC’ and ‘CARP’) before attempting any of the managemetn level courses (course numbers beginning with the letters ‘CMTT’). |

Application Process |
Applicants to the Residential Construction Management diploma program must meet all admissions requirements; complete an application and pay the application fee. Apply to Gwinnett Technical College at GwinnettTech.edu and submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test if required. |
