Graphic Design for the Web Certificate Program Fact Sheet


What is Website Design/Development?  The graphic design for the web certificate program is a sequence of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in the development of graphic images. Program graduates are to be competent in the technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, website design and development, and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Program graduates will receive a Graphic Design for the Web Technical Certificate of Credit and will be qualified for employment as graphic designers.
Semester Program Begins Fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Application Process
  1. Apply to Gwinnett Technical College at GwinnettTech.edu, submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test, if required.
  2. Students applying for this program must be accepted into the Website Design/Development degree or diploma program unless they have completed the required prerequisite courses for this certificate.
Program Prerequisites Diploma level proficiency in English, reading and math.
