ENGL 1102 - Literature and Composition Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 This course develops writing skills beyond the levels of proficiency required by ENGL 1101 . ENGL 1102 emphasizes the student’s ability to read literature analytically and meaningfully and to communicate clearly. Students analyze the form and content of literature in historical and philosophical contexts. Topics include reading and analysis of fiction/nonfiction, poetry, and drama; research, and writing about literature. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $68 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester.
