WELD 1000 - Introduction to Welding Technology

Prerequisite: Diploma level proficiency math; Provisional Admission; Program Director Mandatory Advisement
This course provides an introduction to welding technology with an emphasis on basic welding laboratory principles and operating procedures. Topics include: industrial safety and health practices, hand tool and power machine use, measurement, Oxyacetylene welding, fitup and tacking, and Welding career potentials.
