FORD 2030 - Ford Automatic Transmission & Transaxles

Prerequisite: FORD 1010, FORD 1020
Introduces students to basic automatic transmission/transaxle theory, operation, inspection, service, and repair procedures as well as electronic diagnosis and repair of Ford transmissions. Topics include: Ford rear wheel drive automatic transmission and transaxle diagnosis; in vehicle and off vehicle transmission and transaxle maintenance, adjustment and repair. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $40 cost recovery course fee in addition to tuition and fees. Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 6. Credit hours: 4
