Prerequisite: DIET 1000 , DIET 1010 , DIET 1020 . 
This course will cover the operation, maintenance and repair of marine transmissions, electric drives, thruster systems, and other shipboard gearing units such as winches and stern drives. Contact hours: Class - 3, Lab - 3. Credit hours: 6
