ALHS 1180 - Cultural Diversity and Healthcare Prerequisite: Program Admission; Diploma level proficiency in English and reading The course is designed to examine culture beliefs, values and attitudes influencing health care delivery systems. The concept of culture competency and its components are explored and strategies for appropriate intervention are provided. Models for culturally competent care are presented.
