INDS 1105 - Faux & Decorative Painting I

Prerequisite: Diploma level proficiency in English and reading or ENGL 0097 and READ 0097
This course focuses on introductory techniques used to produce fantasy finishes on furniture and interior walls. Topics include: History of faux finishes, color mixing, technology of paint, materials usage and specific issues related to wall glazing, ragging, sponging, strie, wood graining, textured granite, stones and many other current and ancient techniques.
