VETT 1030 - Veterinary Clinical Procedures I

Prerequisite: Program Admission, VETT 1000, VETT 1010
This course will provide an orientation to small and large animal patient care and technical procedures. Emphasis is placed on physical restraint, general patient assessment and care, sample collection, medication administration, instrumentation and supplies, and basic surgery and isolation room procedures. Field trips to satisfy competencies may be arranged and may occur on days other than scheduled class times. Contact hours: Class - 3, Lab - 3. Credit hours: 4 (Sp)
