PHOT 1017 - Video for Photographers
Prerequisite: PHOT 1016
Production of short digital videos, from concept to completion, using DSLR cameras is the basis of this course. Students are introduced to video production practices including: capture, audio recording, video & sound editing, lighting and production techniques. Strategies to integrate moving images into photographic practices are covered. Projects span an exploration within commercial, business, consumer, and documentary/photojournalism applications for skill development. Students registered for this course will be assessed a $175 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of the semester. Contact hours: Class - 1, Lab - 5.
