PHOT 2305 - Digital Technician Prerequisite: PHOT 1014 This course provides students with digital technical skills to become proficient is digital capture, troubleshooting and processes. Topics cover the digital techs role in the capture process during a photography assignment to ensure incoming images are optimized for the desired look and necessary output, to troubleshooting technical issues on set, and to properly manage files. Digital techs set up, run and troubleshoot digital capture systems during a photographic assignment, as well as manage and prepare files for delivery. Color management, digital profiles, systems calibration and computer operations are emphasized in this course.
