PHOT 1014 - Processing Techniques
Prerequisite: PHOT 1011 and PHOT 1012
This course introduces the students to operations and techniques in the production and processing of imaged photographs. Through the use of various software programs, including Adobe Photoshop, students will learn a precise use of tools, techniques and concepts in the development, processing, and enhancement of their photographs. An introduction to basic techniques for retouching and composites for professional applications will be included. Large format inkjet printing and professional digital labs are explored. Emphasis is placed on professional standards and technical proficiency. Students registered for this course will be assessed a $175 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees.
