AUMB 1040 - Mercedes Engine Performance Systems
Prerequisite: AUMB 1010 and AUMB 1020
This course introduces Mercedes engine performance systems utilizing NGC and GPEC controllers. OBD II engine management systems are covered, as well as speed density fuel injection. Topics include: general engine diagnosis, computerized engine controls and diagnosis, ignition system diagnosis and repair, fuel and air induction, exhaust systems, emission control systems diagnosis and repair, and other related engine service. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $50 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester. Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 6.
