AUMB 2030 - Mercedes Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles

Prerequisite: AUMB 1010 and AUMB 1020
Introduces students to basic automatic transmission/transaxle theory, operation, inspection, service, and repair procedures as well as electronic diagnosis and repair of Mercedes transmissions. Topics include: Mercedes rear wheel drive automatic transmission and transaxle diagnosis; in vehicle and off vehicle transmission and transaxle maintenance, adjustment and repair. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed a $60 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester. Contact hours: Class - 2, Lab - 4.
