PHOT 2319 - Video Production

Prerequisite: PHOT 1017
Building on the technical skills learned in ‘Video for Photographers’, this advanced level course will develop skills in the art of storytelling through moving images and how to craft successful videos for business, consumer, documentary and commercial markets. Students learn the art of creating scripts, storyboarding, advanced capture with 2 or more cameras, lighting, audio and editing techniques. A range of equipment and accessories used in video production will be introduced. This course gives students a solid foundation in video production. Students registered for this course will be assessed a $175 supply fee in addition to tuition and fees. Fees are subject to change at the end of the semester. Contact hours: Class - .67, Lab - 3.33.
