Program Description

The Marketing degree prepares students for careers in the business and marketing fields, which would include marketing and sales, retail and wholesale management, entrepreneurship, small business management, and sports marketing. The associate of applied science degree includes marketing, management, accounting, computer, and college-level general education courses. Graduates of the program receive a degree in Marketing Management with a concentration in one of the following areas: marketing management, entrepreneurship, professional selling, social media and sports marketing.

Students that choose PSYC 1101 as their Area II elective could also complete the diploma in Marketing Management.

Curriculum


Essential General Education Core Courses (15 Credits)

(Successful completion of ENGL 1101  is required)

Area II - Social/Behavioral Sciences


(Choose ONE of the following)

Area III - Natural Sciences/Mathematics


(Successful completion of MATH 1111  or MATH 1103  is required)

Area IV - Humanities/Fine Arts


(Choose ONE of the following)

General Education Elective:


To meet the minimum required 15 semester credit hours in general education courses, an additional 3 semester credit hours must be taken from Area I, Area II, Area III, or Area IV. Students can view the complete list of classes here .
